DNA testing leads to arrest in 2003 Pa. rape

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - A West Chester man who was already in prison on drug charges has been arrested in a 2003 rape case.

Police say the victim was sitting in her car at a red light when a man got in the car, threatened her, attacked her and broke her cell phone when she called 9-1-1. He then drove off in her car.

When police recovered the car, they found the attacker's baseball cap. In May, state police said the D-N-A matched that of 35-year-old Alex Villa, a convicted offender.

Villa was taken from the State Correctional Institute at Camp Hill and arraigned on rape, kidnapping and other charges.
