Convicted Rapist Gets 20 More Years After DNA Links Him To Child's Rape October 26, 2005 A convicted Manhattan rapist has been sentenced to another 20 years behind bars, after DNA linked Ernest Jones to the 2003 roof-top rape of a 9-year-old girl in Harlem. While being held for another crime Jones gave police a DNA sample that matched the DNA found on the little girl's clothing. Jones then plead guilty to the act. Now he could be facing more time for the crime that originally landed him in police custody. That case involves the rape of a 21-year-old woman last year. |
